Hydro 2016

The town of Montreux will provide a perfect setting for the world hydro community, policy-makers and practitioners to meet from October 10–12, 2016 to discuss topical aspects of global hydropower development.

​The event is a major opportunity for networking, with at least 1’500 participants expected to attend from more than 80 countries. Much emphasis will be on accelerating hydro projects in the less developed countries, as well as maximizing the benefits of existing hydro assets, addressing new challenges such as climate issues, and encouraging young people as the hydro engineers of the future.
