The International Panel on Social Progress releases the first draft of its report in Aug. 2016 and opens a wide debate with experts and stakeholders about the perspectives for social progress in the coming decades. The lack of such perspectives is often incriminated for worrisome trends in policy and in global cooperation.

The panelists seek to propose tools and new ideas to decision-makers and stakeholders, on the basis of a synthesis of academic knowledge about economic, political, and social institutions and processes. This meeting organizes a debate between authors of key chapters of the panel and experts from International Organizations.
