IUBMB 2015: 23rd IUBMB Congress & 44th Annual SBBq Meeting

The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) has approved the proposal from the Brazilian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SBBq) to host the 23rd IUBMB Congress in Brazil at the city of Foz do Iguaçu on August 24th to 28th, 2015, as a joint meeting with the 44th Annual Meeting of SBBq. The knowledge of the biochemical aspects of life has increased dramatically over the years. Starting from the characterization of single molecules we have reached the study of the complex interactions of biological components and we are heading towards the computational simulations of complete biological systems. This knowledge shed a light on the past of our planet and may also enlighten its future. The IUBMB Congress is an opportunity to strengthen our networks and make a better world.
